Portlander Shorts

These shorts!!  I think they’re some of the quickest and comfiest shorts I’ve ever made.  The Portlander pants pattern from New Horizon designs got an update this week.  Your favorite pants now include a shorts cutline!

These shorts took me a total of about 30 minutes from cut to finish.  I wanted to have a laid back and comfy lounge look.  I decided to fold them hem up with the right sides together, instead of having the traditional hem with the wrong sides facing.  Wport10

This textured look is exactly what I wanted to have.  I bought both of these fabrics some time ago from Raspberry Creek Fabrics on Etsy.  This pattern also has a pocket that can be added, and also a drawstring.  Wport4
